COACHELLA, Riverside County — November 4, 2026. Denise Delgado led the early count for Coachella mayor, with Frank Figueroa and Jesus “Kino” Gonzalez running close together behind her. The figures are partial returns from November 3, not certified election results.
Mayor: snapshot at 10:14 p.m. Pacific
In the Ballot Book’s recorded update at 10:14 p.m., Delgado had 693 votes (35.2%); Figueroa 586 (29.8%); Gonzalez 553 (28.1%); and Francisco “Frankie” Molina 137 (7.0%). The tracker counted 1,969 votes in that batch. Only 33 votes separated Figueroa and Gonzalez.
City Council: early figures, too
In a separate earlier NBC Los Angeles county results snapshot, the five named council candidates received: Vicente Zamora, 766 votes; Yavonne Zapata, 760; Juan Martinez, 609; Ambar Herran, 380; and Andrew Gallegos, 127. That earlier city council snapshot is not synchronized with the later 10:14 p.m. mayoral update; readers should not assume both contests have the same count cutoff.
Why the result remains open
Riverside County will process eligible mail, provisional and conditional-registration ballots after Election Day. Any of the candidate totals and rankings may change. Residents can check the Riverside County Registrar of Voters for official counting information and newer returns.
These early returns identify leaders only. California58 does not declare a mayor or councilmember elected from these snapshots.
